Karin, our site owner, is the writer of our children stories.

She started writing around the age of 10. After various essays she had to make for her Dutch lessons, her teacher asked if she didn’t want to write for the school newspaper. Of course, she was honoured by his question. And during primary school and later secondary school, she wrote for the school newspaper.

Later, she also started to write poems. Sadly, many of her poems and stories were lost. In the beginning because they were written down in notebooks. Later because hard disk crashes and losing all added documents, and other items.

In the beginning of the Internet, she made websites from scratch where she wrote her stories. She won many prices with her websites. For example, at the following, not exiting any more, sites: The Site Fights, The WebFairy Awards, Enchanted Forest, and Garden of Friendship.

Her nephew loved her stories and was intrigued by the fact she wrote them herself.
When working in tourism, at Fuerteventura (one of the Canary Islands), she wrote every week a chapter for her colleagues. And, when she was a little late, always got the question if there wouldn’t be a new chapter that week.

Please be patient while the stories are written. And hopefully some lost will be found back.
